parašiau lašką dėl damping factor į JL audio... kažkoks keistas atsakymas:\
Hello,
I bought new amplifier JL Audio 500/1 and subwoofer JL Audio 12W6-D4, with sealed box.
Now I want connect subwoofer to amplifier.
Should I connect subwoofers like in owner manual Page 3 – Diagram B: parallel Connection @ 2ohm, or can I to connect like in diagram A: @ 8ohm.
I saw in amplifiers 500/1 specification, when amplifier is working @ 2 ohms damping factor is 250… I want to have it more, so if I change 12w6 jumpers to 8 ohm, it will be not wrong for amplifier? In owners manual shown: from 1.5 to 4 ohms…
Thank you in advantage for answer…
ATSAKYMAS:
No, the correct wiring for that amp would be at 2 ohms. As for damping factor, the Human ear can’t hear anything above 100...250 is lots more then even a very well trained ear can percieve.
...............
ar tikrai žmogaus ausis negirdi daugiau nei 250 damping factorio? gal čia tikrai kaip vaikyti Hz daugiau nei 18kHz?
p.s. nekreipkit dėmesio i mano anglų:)
